Senior Estimator Job Description

This reputable company is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team, focusing on diverse ground-up commercial projects. With a strong commitment to quality and results, the ideal candidate will provide premier services that attract new and repeat clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand all project documents, assessing risks and logistics.
  • Develop and manage cost estimates for projects, including material, labor, equipment, and general condition costs.
  • Participate in pre-construction duties and meetings with clients, owners, and engineers.
  • Maintain a historical database of costs.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects.
  • 5+ years of experience estimating large-scale commercial ground-up projects over $10M.
  • Strong understanding of estimating principles, including conceptual estimates.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software, such as Timberline, and Microsoft Office.
