As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading research and analysis projects for government and industry clients, focusing on advancing construction technology in areas such as energy efficiency, disaster resistance, durability, sustainability, and carbon-neutral buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead research and analysis projects for government and industry clients
  • Perform analytical and applied/experimental research in high-performance buildings
  • Conduct evaluation of technologies in residential construction in the laboratory and the field
  • Participate in codes and standards development forums
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Architectural/Structural Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with building science and construction technologies for single-family and multifamily applications
  • Demonstrated experience with applied research in areas of disaster mitigation and resilience
  • Extensive knowledge of building codes and design standards
  • Practical knowledge of the residential building industry and construction processes
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (demonstrated written articles, reports, and presentations at conferences)
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of sustainable principles and green rating systems
  • Knowledge of data analysis and presentation skills
  • Energy Modeling Skills
  • Engineering Economics and Cost of Construction/Estimating experience
