Electrical Controls Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities & Functions:

  • Provide effective leadership to a small team of technicians in the day-to-day operations of inspection, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Perform inspections, unscheduled and preventative maintenance on PLCs and VFD motor controls
  • Perform and direct effective troubleshooting of electrical power, electrical control and mechanical systems to minimize downtime during breakdowns
  • Analyze failures to present solutions or improved methods to prevent recurrences
  • Effectively interface with the customer to provide ideas for constant improvement
  • Document, and ensure proper documentation of service & installation actions by completing forms, reports and inspection checklists
  • Build and maintain customer confidence with timely response and effective repairs in an economically efficient manner


Requirements:

  • Formal training and experience in electrical controls to include Allen & Bradley PLC’s
  • Prior routine and emergency service repair experience with overhead cranes.
  • Ability to pass a stringent background check and randomized drug tests
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license


This is a hands-on, full-time position with primary work hours during traditional day shift hours. Occasional after-hours response for emergency calls will be required.
