Program Manager - Quick Checkout Initiative


Job Overview:

Our company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of our Self Checkout Initiative within our digital product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proven experience in managing cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale digital projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the project plan, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of the Self Checkout Initiative in alignment with business objectives. This is an on-site role in Irving, TX.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Quick Checkout Initiative project on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance, to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure product quality by coordinating testing and quality assurance efforts
  • Monitor project progress and report project status to stakeholders and senior management
  • Work with product owners and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and priorities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Identify and manage project dependencies, critical paths, and risks
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
  • Coach and mentor team members to build a high-performance team


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a digital product development environment
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering digital products on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience managing projects using these methodologies
  • Experience in managing Self Checkout or similar initiatives in a digital retail environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • PMP Certification
  • Ability to work on-site 5x a week in Irving, TX
