Little Rock, United States Be Pro Be Proud Full time

Be Pro Be Proud is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Coordinator to increase and steward partnerships with for-profit and not-for-profit companies across Arkansas. The Business Coordinator will be the team member primarily responsible for cultivating and supporting company participation before, during and after Draft Day Series events. Be Pro Be Proud’s active and prospective partners are a wide range of companies large and small and extend across  all targeted industry sectors.

Candidates should be self-motivated, driven, problem-solvers who will positively contribute to the organization’s team culture and who can accept and adapt to challenges as they occur. Candidates should have three or more years of relevant experience and an established history of successfully meeting fundraising and/or sales goals and maintaining relationships with company decision-makers.

This position will be based in Central Arkansas, with frequent in-state travel. This is a full-time position with compensation to include base salary, individual- and team-based performance incentives, and benefits.

Organization Overview

Since its inception (2016), Be Pro Be Proud’s mission has been to change student, parent and educator perceptions of technical professions in the construction, forestry, manufacturing, transportation, and utilities industry sectors. Every day, Be Pro Be Proud launches important conversations about technical professions—and the rewarding, secure future they provide— across typically overlooked landscapes: classrooms, locker rooms, ballfields, academic events, and kitchen tables across America. Guided by broad and detailed feedback directly from our target audiences, Be Pro Be Proud has developed powerful content and experiences for a wide range of talent right where they live and learn.

The Be Pro Be Proud Draft Day Series began in 2022 and is an opportunity for graduating high school seniors to interview with participating employers based on matching technical interests/aptitudes and needs. This program is rapidly growing across Arkansas.

Be Pro Be Proud’s culture is one of collaboration and all working together to meet individual and team goals and commitments. While there is an organizational structure, the input of all team members is expected and respected across all divisions, regardless of an individual team member’s direct responsibilities.

Core and position-specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ø Attend all Be Pro Be Proud events (unless otherwise specified) as the key contact for company prospects/participants and to support other Be Pro Be Proud team members; and

Ø Pursue and promote opportunities for interactions between company leaders and educators;

Required Qualifications

Ø 3 Years of related sales or fundraising experience with demonstration of success;
