Jones Networking is recruiting for an Accounting Assistant to join a Law Firm in Old Town, Alexandria. Accounting Assistant Position Summary:

-Assist with overall general accounting support to help in the daily and efficient. functioning of a fast-paced Accounting Department.

-Perform billing support, as well as bill review and approval.

-Generate client accounting reports as requested.

-Assist with accounts payable and receivable.

-Data entry of accounting information.

-Maintain paper and electronic accounting files.


Qualifications Summary:

-Experience with billing, accounts payables, receivables and/or general ledger work preferred.

-Willing to train a college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

-Law firm experience is a plus.

-Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel.

-Exceptional attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.

-Flexibility for overtime when working on special projects and within deadlines.
