Sales Operations Coordinator

A Sales Operations Coordinator will play a key role in achieving our revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with contacting vendors, working with multiple internal departments, having consistent follow through, and helping close sales while negotiating prices and keeping a healthy relationship with the vendors.
About the Role:
Develop in depth product and vendor knowledge to serve as a primary product expert of non-stock items for 3-5 outside representatives as well as cross reference competitors item codes to benchmark item codes. We will also be looking for sales operations associates to become familiar with market competitors to assist in the pricing of products based on volume and the specific competitor we are up against.
Objective
To own and manage specific cross reference and sourcing requests to achieve the best price and turnaround time on non-stock items while still maintaining a high GP% and product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Attend sales operations rapid fire sessions for 3-5 outside sales people.
- Process requests from field sales in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
- Tasks include:
- Sourcing Requests
- Cross Reference Lists
- Item Inquiry Details (include Jacob on some items)
- Q item entering/quoting
- Mailing Tasks (samples & trials)
- Send starting of Q-Item Emails
- Data Analytics (Client Fade, Margin Fade, etc.)
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal departments.
- Responsible for sourcing products from current and new vendors.
- Visit vendors and attend tradeshows to increase product knowledge.
- Work with Sales Team and Customer Service to support special product requests from customers.
- Respond to all communications in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with purchasing, sales, and marketing team.
- Attention to detail is a must. Work with a GSD (Get Stuff Done) and urgent mindset.
