Events Coordinator

One of our clients, a nonprofit in Cambridge, MA is looking to bring on an Events Coordinator. This individual will work with the Events team and other colleagues to coordinate corporate events including conferences, recruiting events, and social gatherings. The ideal candidate for this role is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, but requires applicants to be able to commute to Boston, MA to be eligible. Compensation: $50K

Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative and logistical support for various projects and events, soup to nuts
  • Track vendor contracts, venue details, and logistics for events in scope of 250+ attendees
  • Prepare high-quality materials and correspondence, such as invitations, confirmations, nametags, briefing materials, and seating charts
  • Track key metrics such as RSVPs, meeting attendance, expenses, and calendar of meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support their events and projects
  • Assist with other projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years of Administrative experience required, preferably in corporate environment
  • Collaborative, strong interpersonal skills, can work with stakeholders of all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
