Computer Hardware Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH

Overview:

Agile Resources is seeking talented Computer Hardware Technicians at three levels of experience to join our team and support a new refurbishment center on the east side of Cleveland, OH. We are partnering with a leading global tech services provider to staff this exciting initiative. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various types of computer equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with computers, laptops, servers, and other related hardware.
  • Hardware Replacement: Replace faulty components such as motherboards, CPUs, RAM, hard drives, and peripherals.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct thorough testing to ensure equipment functions properly and meets performance requirements.
  • Data Security: Implement appropriate data sanitization procedures to protect sensitive information.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment, parts, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems, and networking concepts.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work carefully and accurately, ensuring equipment is repaired to the highest standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience: Ideal candidates will have experience working with disk storage arrays and possess one or more of the following certifications: Unix, Red Hat, A+, Server, Storage & Network+, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, MCP.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of CLI (Command Line Interface) is a significant advantage.
