Job Description:

As a Retention Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in reducing customer churn and maximizing the retention of our existing customer base globally. This role will primarily focus on executing campaigns across web and mobile/app platforms, leveraging data-driven insights and A/B testing to optimize retention strategies. While this position will involve heavy execution and deployment, the ideal candidate will also contribute to the development of new marketing strategies aimed at increasing customer retention. This role is suitable for early to mid-career professionals with a strong background in lifecycle marketing, campaign setup, A/B testing, and data analytics.


Responsibilities:

  1. Churn Reduction: Develop and execute retention marketing initiatives aimed at minimizing customer churn and increasing customer lifetime value.
  2. Campaign Management: Manage retention campaigns across web and mobile/app platforms, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other channels.
  3. Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing strategies focused on increasing customer retention and engagement.
  4. Execution and Deployment: Take ownership of campaign execution and deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
  5. A/B Testing: Design and implement A/B tests to optimize campaign performance and identify strategies for improving customer retention rates.
  6. Full Lifecycle Marketing: Implement full lifecycle marketing strategies, including onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back campaigns.
  7. Data Analysis: Utilize metrics, data, and analytics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  8. Hybrid Work Environment: Work in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work remotely and attend in-office meetings in Newark 1-2 times a week.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience setting up and managing marketing campaigns, with a focus on retention marketing.
  • Strong proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and tools.
  • Solid understanding of lifecycle marketing principles and strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and analyze data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in email marketing and push notifications is a plus.
  • Early to mid-career professional with a keen interest in retention marketing and customer lifecycle management.
