Since their inception, our client's Landscape Architecture studio has built a rich legacy of designing spaces that enliven communities, promote public welfare, drive sustainability, and inspire innovation. From large scale campus plans and K-12 facilities to small scale intimate courtyards and planned residential communities; their diverse portfolio allows for heightened learning and well-rounded expertise.


As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will ensure projects are completed within deadline and budget, guaranteeing projects meet the custom needs of clients, and leading the team in strategic design. You will pursue new clients and manage a team to ensure the completion and execution of projects.


Key Accountabilities


  • Manage and complete projects of varying scale with limited assistance from senior management.


  • Act as lead designer for the development of design documents from conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration.


  • Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between other project participants, including architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and clients.


  • Write change orders as necessary to address changes to scope and assist with tracking orders and work outside the scope.


  • Cultivate and nurture meaningful relationships with clients, vendors, manufacturers, manufacturing representatives, etc., to help promote practice growth.


  • Prepare conceptual design concepts using a variety of hand-drawn and digital techniques.


  • Prepare, plan, and develop project design elements including, but not limited to, site grading, paving design, structures, site lighting, planting and accessibility.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Landscape architectural degree
  • Landscape Architect licensure
  • Minimum of eight years’ progressively responsible experience in all phases of landscape design and planning with experience in large-scale projects.
  • AutoCAD / Adobe Creative Suite & design proficiency.
  • Experience with Sketchup, Revit, and other 3D modeling platforms.
  • Have a passion for collaboration throughout the design and execution of projects.
