Industrial Sales Training Program 

We are looking for a dedicated worker with 1-3 years' experience to join our Inside Sales Department. The fast-paced position requires intensive customer contact, order entry, order management, intra/interdepartmental coordination, and regular communication with our Outside Salespeople. 

 

You will spend 12 to 24 months learning the critical knowledge and skills that will prepare you for a role in industrial Outside Sales. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction while supporting Solberg's outside sales and marketing efforts and growth strategy. 

 

This is a great, fast-paced opportunity for engineers looking to begin a sales career and for those who have recently moved into an industrial sales role. We will train the right candidates in all aspects of our business, provide regular feedback on performance, and actively coach those who are willing to be coached. Recent college grads are welcome to apply. 

  

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering  
  • Customer engagement experience (preferably 1-3 years in an industrial B2B setting) 
  • Attention to details 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment 
  • Calm under pressure 
  • Customer focused
