MityLite products are used by customers throughout the world in the hospitality, public assembly, religious, and education spaces. This position will report directly to the VP of Supply Chain.

The purpose of the Director of Procurement and Planning is to oversee procurement, production planning, and S&OP activities. This is a Monday - Friday day shift role with a base pay plus 20% bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Supply Chain and Product leadership to develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Perform minor sourcing activities and coordinate with Sourcing on alternative vendors for new and existing products.
  • Lead the procurement team in procuring materials, products, and services
  • Cooperate with Sourcing to assist in managing supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and other relevant guidelines
  • Drive continuous improvement initiative within the procurement function

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in a large organization. Minimum of 5 years in a directly related management position.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and logistics operations
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles and experience negotiating complex contracts
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using MPS/MRP software systems and other relevant tools. Dynamics NAV experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
