Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. The SDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and scheduling meetings or demos for our account executives. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute to the growth of our company.


Successful candidates will be on a track to move into an account executive role after 9-12 months of successful performance.


This position will work mostly out of FAIRWAYiQ’s office in Dedham, Massachusetts. There is some flexibility to work remotely at times, when needed and where it does not impact the job duties.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking to identify and generate new leads.
  • Qualification: Qualify leads through strategic questioning and research to determine their fit for our products/services and their potential to become paying customers.
  • Outreach: Initiate contact with leads through personalized messaging and calls, effectively communicating our value proposition and understanding their needs.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understanding their challenges and goals to better position our solutions.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings or product demonstrations for our sales executives, ensuring a smooth handoff and providing necessary context for the meeting.
  • Prospect and Lead Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and interactions in CRM and sales enablement software, tracking progress and next steps for each lead.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies, share insights, and provide feedback on campaign effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Continuous learner with a desire to dig deep into new topics, technology, and sales techniques. Voracious reader and consumer of content. 
  • Proven track record in cold calling and sales development techniques.
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or customer service roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with prospects without dominating the conversation.
  • Quiet confidence.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a relentless drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Team oriented while enjoying light hearted competition.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot), sales enablement (e.g. Outplay, Salesloft) and proficiency in Google Suite of Tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes and challenges.
  • Keen interest in and understanding of technology and how it is used to solve business problems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for understanding complex customer challenges and crafting tailored solutions.
  • Previous experience in the golf industry at a technology provider is a plus.
  • A genuine passion for golf and a desire to learn the details of golf course operations.
