Lead Generation Specialist

We are looking for a person to join the Menlo Sales and Marketing team. The role requires patience, research acumen, a desire to talk to people, and a curious mindset. 


Responsibilities will include:

a) Assisting in the generation of a steady stream of qualified leads:

  • Researching and updating a list of Menlo contacts - people who have visited Menlo Innovations for a tour, workshop or other Menlo Experience event. 
  • Working with the Sales team to identify prospects that fit Menlo’s ideal customer profile.
  • Scheduling calls with prospects.
  • Attending calls, taking notes, and documenting notes in our CRM software, HubSpot. 
  • Maintaining and updating the list of qualified leads. 
  • Maintaining the deal pipelines in HubSpot. 
  • Any other tasks assigned to them by the Sales team leader.


b) Assisting in the sales Discovery-to-Close process:

  • Assisting in scheduling sales calls.
  • Taking notes during sales calls and document notes in our CRM software, HubSpot. 
  • Keeping track of customer correspondences. 
  • Assisting in preparation/presentation of sales reports. 


Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer facing role is helpful but not required. 
  • Experience with a CRM system like HubSpot is helpful but not required. 
  • The interview process requires the candidate to fulfill a 1-day and a 3-week trial period on-site in Ann Arbor, MI.
  • Commitment to work in-person in Ann Arbor, MI. (This is not a hybrid or remote work assignment)


Compensation:

  • Compensation is contingent on the applicant's level; the starting range for this position is $21.20 - $32.75 per hour.
  • 401(k) - with employer contribution (Traditional and Roth)
  • Parking is reimbursed
  • Paid sick leave
