Position: Vice President of Wasion USA/General Manager of Wasion USA

The responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Management and Strategic Decision-making:

  • Formulate and implement the overall management tasks of the company to achieve sustainable development.
  • Develop strategic plans for optimized overall business operations especially the market and sales activities in the United States and surrounding countries (e.g.: Canada) and accomplish the business goals assigned by the board.
  • Actively seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the US company, assign timely performance goals and ensure their completion
  • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
  • Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes

Innovative Thinking and Technological Research and Development:

  • Provide guidance and feedback to help our employees strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
  • Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
  • Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
  • Inspiring employees' innovative thinking
  • Promoting technological progress and product upgrades

Corporate Culture and Team Building: Learning

  • Integrate, and identify with Wasion's corporate culture to build an efficient, united, and enterprising team.
  • Caring for employee growth and welfare to improve employee satisfaction and cohesion.

Social Responsibility and Compliance Operations

  • Paying attention to corporate social responsibility, ensuring strict compliance with laws and regulations during the company's operations.
  • Maintain overall organization responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and build a good corporate image.


Your experience and skills:

  1. Experience as vice president in the leading companies in energy, water, smart city, IoT and intelligent infrastructure industry;
  2. Native speaker or Advanced English, bilingual or multi-lingual preferred;
  3. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunication or marketing;
  4. Rich experience in metering or AMI solutions;
  5. The proven success record of sales experience in electric utilities;
  6. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently;
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead international high-performing teams in large organizations;
  8. Ability to travel (US, Canada, Mexico) up to 50%.
  9. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Wasion in the US.
