About the Role: Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Work Environment: 100% Remote
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with our overall business strategy.
- Serve as a bridge between management and employees, addressing demands, grievances, and other issues effectively.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a consistent pipeline of quality candidates. This includes developing recruitment strategies, managing the entire recruitment process from screening to job offers.
- Manage a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and employee development.
- Maintain and enhance the pay plan and benefits program, ensuring our compensation and benefits are competitive and in line with market trends.
- Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of human resource management.
- Consult with executive leadership regarding strategic planning and talent management.
- Identify ways to maximize the value of the organization’s employees and ensure that they are used efficiently.
- Ensure company handbook and other required onboarding documents are updated as needed.
- Manage Flock benefits administration and annual open enrollment.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education & Training: A degree in Human Resources or a related field. Additional HR training or certifications will be considered a plus.
- Proven HR Leadership: Extensive experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR Executive role, with a successful track record in the staffing industry. Proven experience managing and leading a team of 5+ HR and Recruiting professionals.
- Government Contracting Expertise: Strong experience supporting HR functions within government contracts (federal, state, and local), understanding the unique requirements and regulations involved.
- HR Systems Proficiency: Proficient in HR systems and databases.
- Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the company.
- Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation.
