The Gold Studios is a Digital Comedy Agency that launched in 2020. We represent and produce shows with some of the biggest names in comedy including YouTube stars Bigg Tugg and Ugo Lord; stand-up comics Jackie Fabulous and Cactus Tate; sketch comedians such as Michael Spicer, Zachary Ryan, Jake Gould and Calvin & Habs. 


THE ROLE       

The Gold Studios is on the hunt for a Comedy Booking Agent. Your mission? Booking hilarious stand-up comedy tours, from big theaters to cozy comedy clubs and everywhere in between.


You'll be the ultimate matchmaker, forging solid bonds with our comedians and building great relationships with comedy club bookers coast to coast. Armed with data and a dash of intuition, you'll craft tour routes that hit the sweet spot for our digital fans. And, we're counting on you to help grow our lineup of comedians, so bring your A-game for discovering fresh talent


You’ll need a love for all things comedy, whether it's YouTubers, TikTokers, sketch comedians or standups.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Digital Comedian sourcing and acquisition
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Comedy Club Bookers.
  • Take a data-driven approach (using social media analytics) to pitching and booking comedians for comedy club appearances.
  • Negotiation and contracting with comedy clubs.
  • Coordinate comedian appearances and act as liaison between venue and comedian.
  • Pitching Live Tours to Digital Comedians/YouTube Shows/Podcasts
  • This position is required to work a hybrid schedule mixing between daytime work and evening comedy club visits. 


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

·       2+ years of comedy booking 

·       A love of comedy and of course digital comedy.

·       High level of energy and motivation. 

·       Outstanding communication skills.

·       Knowledge of Canva and video editing would be welcome.
