Primary Data Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills a must.
  • Ability to work and learn in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while able to maintain attention to detail and produce the highest quality of work.
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, OneNote, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Access,)
  • Knowledge of Postal Presort software, BCC MM2010 or other, and postal expertise a plus.

This position will be required to train and learn BCC MM2010 Postal software to perform the following duties:

Perform data hygiene on provided data adhering to WordCom processing levels and procedures

  • Ensure that the processing of data meets the requirements stated in project instructions.
  • Using BCC MM2010, certify data through CASS, NCOA and/or Walk Sequence depending on job specifications.
  • Perform merge/purge using BCC MM2010 Enhanced Merge/Purge Software.
  • Create Postal reports per job specifications
  • Use BCC MM2010 and other in-house software to perform data hygiene per job specifications.

Perform additional Data Management Functions

  • Data research requested by client, Account Manager, or Account Executive.
  • Keep knowledge of software and postal regulations current.


Any additional tasks or requests required by Management.
