Retail Account Manager

This position is based out of Minnetonka, MN. The candidate must be in the Twin Cities metro area and able to come to the office as needed.


What you’ll do

As a Retail Account Manager on the Toys and Collectibles team, you will be responsible for a variety of Retailer and Supplier business-driving activities and the coordination and management of item set-up and maintenance. This position interfaces with external and internal business teams.


How you’ll do it

Item setup and maintenance

  • Create and maintain item integrity in U&I and Retailer systems.
  • Own the item set-up process leveraging tools for internal and retailer facing needs.
  • Work with suppliers and retailers to create the best in class e-commerce experience through item set-up process.
  • Manage new release item details internally and with retailers to launch new release products on time and accurately.
  • Utilize internal tools to maintain ongoing item detail accuracy.

Retailer and Supplier Partner support

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and our Retail Partners.
  • Pull and analyze weekly POS reports highlighting insights and trends.
  • Work closely with sales team to problem solve, and create best practices
  • Support ad hoc sales and Instock report requests.
  • Attend vendor and retailer meetings to learn the business and action on follow-ups
  • Manage product sample requests.


What you’ll need

  • Effective organization skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal (confident) and written (concise)
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Retailer’s internal item and inventory management systems
  • Functional knowledge of MS Excel (sorting/grouping data, pivot tables, v lookups, etc)


What you’ve done

  • 1-2 years of experience working at or with Tier 1 retail (Target, Best Buy)
  • Four-year college degree preferred



Where you’ll do it

U&I Entertainment is a supplier of video games and entertainment products to all US Tier 1 retailers. The business is focused on curating video game and toy products at retail and providing an easy supply solution.
