 Pastry cook is responsible for the preparation of pastry prep cold dishes, salads and appetizers. Looking for a chef who specialize in creating visually appealing and delicious cold platters, often incorporating intricate garnishes and decorations. Responsibilities:  Prepare ingredients and handle baking equipment with proficiency.  Create pastries, baked goods, and confections following designated recipes.  Skillfully decorate pastries and desserts to ensure appealing and tasteful presentation.  Collaborate with customers to plan and customize desserts and pastries for special occasions.  Monitor baking ingredient inventory and order supplies within budgetary guidelines.  Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations within the pastry section.  Qualifications:  Possess a certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field.  Have at least three years of experience in the food industry as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or in a relevant role.  Demonstrate a solid understanding of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.  Showcase creative ability and artistic skills in cake decoration and dessert presentation.  Display keen attention to detail in all aspects of pastry preparation.  Possess in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.  Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings when required.  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.  More detail about The Golden Swan part of Neighborhood Projects, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/522719-the-golden-swan
