This role involves overseeing Quality Engineering in a fabrication and assembly setting, with a focus on collaborating directly with customers. As a leader in the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production quality and validating manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering quality engineering assistance in a manufacturing environment, specifically in welding processes for new customer projects.
  • Engaging in direct communication with customers to handle product quality issues, drive score-card enhancements, and oversee product/equipment qualification activities.
  • Participating in various Quality System upkeep tasks, including CAPA, Audits, Complaints, and other relevant initiatives.
  • Driving internal quality improvement endeavors to meet customer expectations and goals.
  • Contributing to product development engineering procedures, encompassing validation tasks, SPC & data analysis, control plans, report creation, and PFMEA's as required.
  • Conducting Verification and Failure Analysis on returned products, implementing necessary corrective measures.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting manufacturing operations, particularly in producing industrial goods, with exposure to welding environments.
  • Proven track record in providing direct customer service in the realm of organizational quality.
