The Process
/? Chemical
Engineer will
be responsible for
process systems, process-mechanical, Bulk Gas delivery and PSSS (VHP/Gas/Chemical), Industrial Waste lift,
collection
and treatment, and UPW (make-up, primary, and polish loop) systems for multiple ongoing projects through all phases including programming, schematic, design development, constructions documents, construction administration and project close-out.
PM duties include:
Client interface
Generate and track project delivery
schedule
Develop and
allocate
fees for engineering
work
Tracking budgets throughout design
Facilitate design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases;
Perform analysis and design of industrial buildings/projects;
Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to
facilitate
decision-making;
Review and produce plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes,
standards
and guidelines;
Communicate and coordinate with clients, multi-discipline teams,
contractors
and governmental agency personnel;
Domestic and international travel may be
required
;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university;
5-10 years of experience with process, waste, and ultrapure water (UPW) systems in the semiconductor, petrochemical, or bio/pharmaceutical industries;
Experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients as a project manager or engineering lead;
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S. or the ability to gain licensure within 1 year of start date;
Familiar with AutoCAD
, Revit
,
NavisWorks
and pipe stress software, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interface.
Base Compensation:
$105K- $140K
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
