POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will oversee marketing strategy and execution for three territories within the Strategic Marketing Solutions program. Collaborating closely with the Partnerships team, this position involves developing and implementing marketing programs at both local and national levels to drive sales of collegiate licensed products. Success in this role hinges on proactivity, collaboration, and strategic thinking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively within a team to address the marketing needs of three territories.
  • Lead the development of annual strategic marketing plans to achieve client objectives.
  • Supervise two direct reports to support planning and execution of marketing programs.
  • Establish client trust by offering strategic and innovative marketing solutions.
  • Present and uphold detailed statements-of-work for all marketing services.
  • Demonstrate persuasive communication skills in presenting marketing plans to clients.
  • Provide valuable insights and critiques on strategies, ideas, and creative concepts.
  • Utilize project management systems to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Oversee client communications related to all marketing initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive program recaps to validate resource allocation for client projects.
  • Analyze performance data to inform future decision-making.
  • Occasional travel (roughly 10%) required for client meetings and industry events.
SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing/brand experience in the consumer goods sector.
  • Proficient in project management, influencing, and communication.
  • Experience with social media, digital marketing, and event promotions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Canva, and similar platforms.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Collaborative and adept at working with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking, creativity, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for serving others and exceptional people management abilities.
