Were seeking a team-oriented leader with strong knowledge of valuation methodologies to lead the team and help implement and enhance the valuation tools and methodologies employed.

Youll have the opportunity to:
  • Build out a center of excellence for valuation of complex assets
  • Be a key member on the assessment of valuation tools and help drive implementation of technology solutions for entire valuation process
  • Manage the valuation process on market data inputs to the valuation models and techniques (yield curve, volatility surfaces, credit curves, liquidity assumptions, etc.)
  • Manage process to ensure compliance with valuation policies
  • Perform model validation on new asset classes and unique assets in coordination with IT, risk and investment professionals
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly valuation models and portfolio analytics for private asset classes in a strong control framework
  • Manage and coordinate communications with third party valuation service providers and auditors throughout the valuation process
  • Partner closely with investment professional management and analysts, 3rd party vendors, investment risk, accounting, and IT

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, math, or actuarial science
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • CFA designation strongly preferred
  • Finance background with knowledge of investment products, specifically in private equity and debt
  • Knowledge of valuation methodologies and strong excel capabilities
  • Intellectual curiosity, healthy skepticism and initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, time sensitive team environment with multiple priorities
Salary Range Information:
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range:
$ $167000 / year

Time Off Program:
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees dont accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers an in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangement in Des Moines, IA.
