Summary:
  • Assemble parts to create complete units or subassemblies following technical drawings, specialized tools, and written instructions.
  • Understand basic hydraulic concepts, gauge functions, and Crissair assemblies in hydraulic systems.
  • Test check valves according to blueprints and ATP requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate parts count for each job.
  • Perform seat preparations like burnishing, coining, and cleaning per work instructions.
  • Install internal components using proper tools.
  • Report defective parts and rework as instructed.
  • Suggest and document lean process improvement ideas.
  • Maintain 100% quality rating and ensure less than .1% rejected components.
  • Keep work station and test equipment clean and free of debris.
  • Handle and dispose of chemicals properly.
  • Follow safety standards and wear required safety equipment.
Qualification Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED; three to six months of related experience or training.
  • Must earn Basic Hydraulics and Blueprint Reading certificates.
Skills:
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and ERP/Inventory systems.
