About The Company:
Habitat for Humanity LaSalle-Bureau-Putnam Counties, Inc. is on a mission to eliminate poverty housing in the three-county area. From constructing homes to advocating for policy changes, we work tirelessly to provide affordable shelter to those in need.
Job Overview:
We are in search of an Executive Director to lead our organization towards its goals. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, overseeing operations, and inspiring our team. Your role will involve developing and executing plans to further our mission, ensuring a safe work environment, and managing construction and repair programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans
- Provide a safe workplace for all stakeholders
- Lead and mentor staff
- Oversee construction and repair programs
- Manage finances in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management or related field
- Experience in nonprofit leadership
- Strong financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Passion for Habitat for Humanity's mission
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Knowledge of building materials (preferred)
