Assist and mentor individuals in using public transportation all while maintaining own wellness and recovery in order to support individuals in services teaching relapse prevention through identification of triggers, early warning signs, and use of wellness tools This position requires travel throughout the assigned region.

As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will collaborate with the participant, their family, and their team for the purpose of developing a behavior support plan that must include positive practices and will not include restraint procedures (physical, chemical, or mechanical) as support strategies.

Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and developing behavior support plans which utilize positive strategies to support the participant based on functional behavioral assessments.

This position requires an extensive amount of travel throughout northeast and/or central Pennsylvania.
