Job Title: Residential Associate

About the Job:
We are thrilled to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Residential Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a direct care team catering to adults dealing with severe mental illness. Your main tasks will involve aiding in life skills development, implementing therapeutic interventions, housekeeping, meal preparation, medication administration, and maintaining precise clinical records. If you have prior experience as a Direct Support Professional, Qualified Mental Health Associate, Residential Assistant, Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or have provided care for individuals with behavioral health needs, then this position might be an excellent fit for you.

Work Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Part Time, Swing)

What You'll Earn:
$22.00 per hour (DOE/Credentials). An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will be applicable during the hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am.

An extra 5% Language Differential is provided to Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English proficiency desired).

Requirements:

  • Must qualify for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration.
  • Eligibility necessitates meeting one of the following 3 Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field;
  • OR minimum three (3) years of verified behavioral health experience under supervision;
  • OR equivalent mix of behavioral science education and substantial behavioral health experience/training.

Driving is a crucial aspect of this role. Successful candidates MUST possess a valid Oregon driver's license, uphold a clean driving record, and pass a DHS background check.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves frequent communication, manual tasks, standing, walking, reaching, as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds. Some occasional physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, bending, and more may also be necessary. Completion of crisis de-escalation and CPR training is mandatory.

Compensation Details:
Estimated Hourly Wage: $20-22
