Job Summary

Process equipment orders and new system startup orders (includes reviewing purchase orders, special spec equipment handling, pricing verification, etc.); manage a demo equipment fleet through scheduling of shipments and returns; and coordinate and track freight quotes for equipment orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process new system startup orders. This detailed responsibility requires intensive procedural step-by-step entry and analysis including new account setups, special spec equipment handling, pricing verification, assessing inventory availability to coordinate with installation date and proper reporting of vital information to all departments involved.
  • Process stand-alone equipment orders not involved with new system startups including special spec equipment handling, pricing verification, determining ship date and proper reporting of vital information to all parties involved.
  • Manage demo equipment fleet through scheduling of shipments and returns of equipment. Meeting deadlines, knowledge of all equipment components and tracking of equipment location and condition is essential.
  • Coordinate and monitor freight quoting process between sales team and logistics. Ensure quotes are processed promptly and are properly utilized during sales process.
  • Continually analyze processes associated with new system startups, stand-alone equipment orders, demos, and freight quotes and work towards improvement of processes by working with sales team (specifically VP of sales and regional managers), customer service and other departments to streamline the process.
  • Work closely with purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, product managers, sales team, and customers to coordinate all aspects of new systems.
  • Supply management with monthly statistics for new system startup and equipment KPIs. Examples include time frame for order entry, reasons for delays, reasons for missed shipments, sales dollars, on-time delivery, etc.
  • Manage listings of returned/damaged equipment in the Clearance Center of the Aladdin Temp-Rite website.
  • Cross trains and provide back up to the International Sales Operations Coordinator

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office; focus on Excel and Outlook.
  • Organized, detail oriented and possesses the ability to attain given objectives.
  • Strong communications skills, oral and written.
  • Able to handle a heavy, demanding, multi-functional workload with expertise and professionalism.
  • Ability to grasp large, overall picture and work with daily details to obtain.

Education and Experience

  • Four (4) year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in customer relations required.
  • Manufacturing or purchasing experience a preferred.
