Overview of Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock shipping operations efficiently.
  • Work hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with overtime as required.
  • Steel or composite toe footwear is mandatory.
  • Certification for operating a ride-along electric pallet jack and other powered industrial trucks (PITs) will be provided.
Core Duties:
  • Prepare and complete orders for dispatch to clients or internal departments.
  • Load shipments onto common carrier and company vehicles.
  • Assemble customer orders for UPS delivery.
  • Handle UPS shipment documentation, ensuring accuracy in merchandise verification, applying correct postage, and adhering to customer shipping guidelines.
  • Collect and verify assembled orders in carts, ensuring quantities and descriptions match.
  • Package each order appropriately and organize containers by delivery route.
  • Measure, cut, and spool wire materials as necessary.
  • Confirm quantities and items against invoices prior to shipping.
  • Provide support to other warehouse staff when required.
  • Facilitate deliveries as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong attendance record is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
  • Flexibility to take on other responsibilities as needed.
