Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging quality and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ARRT registered and CT certified or acquired within 6 months.
  • 1-3 years of experience in CT imaging.
