The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners and other diagnostic equipment.
- Position patients for optimal imaging results and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging quality and patient satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT registered and CT certified or acquired within 6 months.
- 1-3 years of experience in CT imaging.
TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150-bed hospital that has provided high-quality healthcare for over 40 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville features Sumner County's only Level II NICU services, which hosts spacious LDRP suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient services.
