Honest Escrow- Onsite opportunity - Irvine ,CA

We are looking for a detail-oriented Escrow Officer who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the escrow process. In this position, you will facilitate the closing of real estate transactions by ensuring that all parties meet contractual obligations in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders, and to maintain accurate records throughout the process.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Review and analyze purchase agreements, title commitments, and lender instructions to prepare escrow instructions and settlement statements.
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders to obtain necessary information and documentation.
  • Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and other parties to ensure a smooth closing process.
  • Prepare and disburse funds according to escrow instructions and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and files of all escrow transactions.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the escrow process.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Must have Reporting – compliance and reporting – DFPI experience
  • May be required to attend meetings/ conferences as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be already fully licensed escrow officer - 2 years + of experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or work experience related
  • Strong knowledge of escrow laws, regulations, and procedure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Valid Escrow Officer License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
