As the **Senior Performance Reporting Analyst** at Mariner Institutional, you will play a vital role in performance analysis, reporting, monitoring investment policies, managing investments, and supporting projects for intricate client investment strategies. This position involves servicing various institutional clients and plan types, requiring expertise in time-weighted and dollar-weighted performance calculations, as well as a sound grasp of statistical concepts related to both public and private investments.

If you possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to contribute significantly to a dynamic team, then this role is perfect for you. The ideal candidate will be a professional individual with a solid understanding of mathematical calculations, investment performance techniques, and risk analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and configuration of new clients, managing internal systems setup, inputting historical performance data, and creating reports
  • Calculate and reconcile performance metrics with investment managers and custodians
  • Develop, sustain, and produce client reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Monitor adherence of client plans to investment policy statements
  • Provide investment administrative services and project support for clients
  • Offer mentorship and training to team members
  • Engage in other departmental initiatives as guided by the Performance Reporting Director or Managing Director
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • CFA Investment Foundations Program required within 6 months of start date, or enrollment in CIPM or CFA program
  • Preferred 6 years of relevant professional experience
Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrates high accuracy and detail orientation in work
  • Exhibits excellent organizational skills and flexibility in managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Ability to think critically and resolve issues using available resources
  • In-depth understanding of mathematical computations, particularly in investment performance methodologies and risk assessment
  • Familiarity with the global investment landscape, encompassing financial markets, participants, asset classes, investment instruments, economic concepts, and various investment vehicles
  • Proficiency in software systems and Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe/Foxit
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences (clients, peers, Advisors, etc.)
