Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Performing stress analysis and determining allowable flight and ground handling loads for aircraft cargo restraints
  • Reporting interface loads following FAA regulations
  • Conducting preprocessing of part geometry and meshing using FEMAP for design validation

What you need to qualify:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required
  • 15 years' Stress Engineering experience or experience as an engineer in the aerospace industry, conducting tests, performing analysis, and developing test plans for compliance with FAA regulations
  • Alternatively, Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 8 years' Stress Engineering experience or experience as an engineer in the aerospace industry, conducting tests, performing analysis, and creating test plans for compliance with FAA regulations
  • Customer-oriented mindset to collaborate with customers during the development phase of new products
  • Previous leadership involvement would be advantageous
