Position Summary:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and products throughout the production facility. They will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials to production cells. The role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate with multiple departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures Production Pods are replenished timely with materials
- Ensure inventory accuracy is properly maintained, tracked and reported between the various software platforms.
- Works together with the production team throughout the production process to ensure materials are properly managed and reconciliation after each batch.
- Routinely conduct cycle counts and properly document all inventory movements.
- Tracks, documents, and assists with evaluating the data on production waste to identify patterns, trends, or anomalies, and investigate potential causes to minimize future waste.
- Reviews and validates all Inbound Transfers from the Warehouse and/or Infusion room, ensuring the correct quantity, color, size, and any other specs are correct for the strain.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies with material in Work-in-process.
- Comply with all State requirements related to the storage, movement, and location of raw cannabis/ raw non-can materials within the facility.
- Uphold SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) associated with raw material inventory tracking and management.
- Communicate effectively with production team and management about waste metrics, findings, and potential improvements soon after batch completion.
- Maintain KPI's and provide other types of data reporting.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of Inventory control experience or experience in a manufacturing role with Inventory reporting responsibilities.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Must have experience working with ERP, WMS, and/or other inventory tracking systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
