ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Implement the Business Transition Advisory strategy to reach AUM objectives and secure business closures by enhancing referrals for wealth management services to business owners and executives.
  • Collaborate with Region Private Bank, Commercial Bank, and Capital Markets to foster the One Bank collaboration and integrate W&AM and Wholesale for enhanced client engagement and revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with One Bank partners to execute the Business Transition Advisory strategy targeting specific clients.
  • Assess the suitability of securities products and capital markets services for individual clients and facilitate their delivery through collaboration with the Capital Markets teams.
  • Conduct educational sessions to showcase transition advisory capabilities and value to various stakeholders.
  • Forge strategic alliances to incorporate business transition advisory services for business owners and key executives navigating wealth complexities.
  • Maintain proactive communication with partners regarding referrals, opportunities, and prospects.

Transition Advisory Services:

  • Offer advisory services to clients navigating complex business transitions with a focus on those with a minimum EBITDA of $5M and post-transition liquidity of $15M per owner.
  • Enhance the utilization of the Private Bank by business owners and executives throughout their business life cycle, including effective transition planning.
  • Implement business transition processes to manage a robust pipeline leading to closed business and optimal client outcomes.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of business advisory transition practice management.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management protocols and ethical conduct in all dealings to deliver a positive customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in related Investment or Client Service roles.
  • Essential licenses: SIE, 7 or 79, and Series 63.
  • Proven track record in business development.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding client service aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, collaborate effectively with all levels of management, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Typical office setting with minimal external disruptions.
  • Regular use of computer screens.
  • Travel may be required.
