We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field.

These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.

You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital circuits to fully integrated systems.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.

Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysisBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryExtensive experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), Siemens Capital, or Zuken E3Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysisKnowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processesUnderstanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic captureUnderstanding of the printed circuit board layout process and toolsKnowledge of High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) protection/hardening design requirementsExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM)At SNC we deliver customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.

$138, $190, SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
