What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the award negotiation sub-department team
  • Provide training for OSP award negotiation staff on contract and agreement requirements
  • Engage in negotiation of grants, awards, contracts, agreements, and subawards
  • Review contractual documents to ensure compliance with university policies and federal regulations
  • Provide internal and external customer service to address inquiries and requests

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with equivalent relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge of 2 CFR 200
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Research Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in staff supervision and Electronic Research Administration
  • Training and development experience with staff

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Juris Doctor from a U.S. American Bar Association-accredited law school
  • Certified Research Administrator
