Summary

The QTI Group is recruiting on behalf of a client to hire a Territory Sales Manager in the Washington, D.C., Richmond, VA, or Philadelphia area. You will sell dehumidification products and grow dealer/distributor partnerships within the territory. In this B2B sales position, you will work with dealers who work in the waterproofing, pest control, and other related services to support and deliver dehumidification and indoor air quality products.

Location/Schedule: Work from your home office in or near Washington, D.C., Richmond, VA, or Philadelphia. You will own your schedule to grow your territory

Independently manage your week and results like you are running your own business We will provide an existing customer base and new leads to drive sales. A few other highlights:
  • Provide tailored product and system solutions to HVAC dealerships and distributors to develop and nurture long-lasting relationships.
  • Partner with internal marketing team to provide dealers and distributors with the information they need to promote our products.
  • Cold call and collaborate with customers on their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal distribution managers to secure distributor orders with dealers.
  • Partner with product sales director to develop and lead your own plan to support your sales goals and plan for your month-to-month activities.
  • Track, update, and report metrics on sales progress, activity, and customer accounts in CRM
  • Use data and analytical skills to identify and prioritize accounts offering the greatest sales opportunities.
  • Occasionally get hands-on with customers, for example, by going into a basement or crawlspace area to troubleshoot with a customer to determine best solution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree desired but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience selling a tangible product, preferably selling through a dealer network.
  • Demonstrated experience growing and independently managing a territory.
  • Experience selling in the indoor air quality industry is a plus
  • Natural ability to create lasting and trusted relationships with a variety of clients, including distribution partners.
  • Ability to use research and data to support sales strategy
  • Ability to travel ~40% within the territory - primarily in the DC area, but could have occasional overnights to meet with distributors up the East Coast into New England.
