Job Title: Home Care Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced Home Care Coordinator to manage staffing, speak with case managers, and supervise staff. This position demands strong organizational skills and fluency in more than one language. A minimum of two years of recent experience is necessary for this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Job Duties:

  • Adhere to SHCS policies and procedures
  • Post recruiting ads, build relationships with recruiting sources, and attend job fairs
  • Screen, interview, and document applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork and conduct background checks
  • Communicate with hiring managers and team members
  • Answer calls from caregivers, clients, and prospects
  • Manage caregiver schedules and ensure compliance
  • Conduct employee trainings and orientations
  • Determine optimal staffing for clients and maintain accurate schedules
  • Assure caregiver compliance with various requirements
  • Be available for after-hours calls and scheduling adjustments
  • Maintain accurate database information
  • Document employee and client activities
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience

Preference for 2 years of Healthcare or home care experience and Scheduling experience

  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and scheduling programs
  • Understanding of basic medical terminology
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Abilities to follow directions, read, and write effectively
  • Maturity in handling job demands

Knowledge of Spanish is a plus. This is a Full-time position with a pay rate of $10.00/Hour located in Fayetteville, GA.
