Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our overall strategy and execution of enablement and communication across our Dexterity ecosystem, which includes Customers, Partners and Dexterity employees within our Customer Success organization.

This role involves setting the strategy for our training, content, customer and partner external communications, and overall enablement programs, while overseeing and participating in itsl execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for developing talent and driving organizational proficiency, efficiency, scalability and growth. The Senior Manager of Enablement and Communications will thrive in a startup environment, bringing structure and scalability to the organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive enablement and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Take a lead role across the organization by helping to create innovative and engaging programs, materials, content, and resources for multiple external audiences across the Dexterity ecosystem.

Collaborate with the company's leaders and key stakeholders to identify enablement needs and priorities for the customer and partner ecosystem.

Recommend, procure and launch an online community program that allows Dexterity to create a single communications vehicle for our Customers and Partners.

Utilize various learning methodologies and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of our enablement and communications methods.

Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of enablement initiatives through metrics and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as necessary.

Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards for associated training activities.

Create, launch and manage Dexterity certification programs for operations and maintenance across our entire Dexterity ecosystem.

Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training, enablement, communications, and online communities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing external communications and external enablement programs in a corporate setting.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, communication methodologies, and training delivery techniques.

Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop long-term plans, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Experience managing and developing a high-performing team, including remote team members.

Experience in launching and operating online communities and other communication tools.

Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, online community platforms, etc.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and measure program effectiveness.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Customer First Mentality and ability to anticipate the enablement needs of our Dexterity ecosystem.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in enablement, training, content management and overall communications in a solutions-based environment (i.e. ideally SaaS or, if hardware is acceptable)

5+ years managing online communities, public forums, etc. in a corporate environment. SaaS environment preferred

5+ years directly managing a team composed of trainers, instructional designers, content managers, community teams, or a combination thereof.

25% travel

Base pay is one element of our Total Rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits and equity etc., depending on eligibility. The annual base salary range for this position is from $120,000 to $145,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as years of relevant experience, skills, education etc. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
