About the team
Responsibilities:
- Support the lead eDiscovery attorney and collaborate with the eDiscovery team, litigation teams and other stakeholders to help create cuttingedge solutions, playbooks and develop best practices for eDiscovery in the U.S. and Canada.
- Partner with the lead eDiscovery attorney, the eDiscovery team, and various internal teams on legal issues related to eDiscovery and information governance policies, strategies, and workflows. Advise on internal policies related to the creation, use, retention, and disposition of company information.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on litigation.
- A combination of experience in private practice and a corporate litigation department in a matrix organization with a highly regarded firm and organization (tech or media, preferred).
- Experience with and skilled at learning complex technology quickly and translating highly technical issues into lay terms and persuasive legal arguments.
- Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work as a team player who can effectively collaborate with colleagues from the Global Legal team and business stakeholders.
- Member in good standing of the New York or California bar association or another bar association with the ability to register as inhouse counsel in New York or California.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer experience with GDPR and the Stored Communications Act.
- Document review management, ediscovery, data privacy and information governance.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $240000 annually.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match.
Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
We also provide generous benefits like mental and emotional health benefits through our EAP and Lyra. A 401K company match, gym and cellphone service reimbursements. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
