Job Title: Fitness Specialist (Part-Time)

Description

Aquila's Fitness Specialist (part-time) assists members in safe and effective exercise and performs various technical and administrative tasks at the health/fitness center.

This role, starting in July 2024, offers an hourly pay of $22. Candidates must be available to work 24 hours a week over 3 days, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise exercise areas
  • Educate members on safe exercise techniques
  • Teach group exercise classes
  • Conduct exercise assessments and prescribe exercises following industry guidelines

Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related fieldOR an active NCCA accredited fitness certification
  • Active CPR certification
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in adult fitness
