Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for helping the Harvest and Packaging leadership team meet safety, quality and production expectations
  • Assign, maintain, control and support the daily workflow of the assigned area(s)
  • Hand trim marijuana plants using shears and scissors
  • Package dry and/or liquid product using manual labor along with automated equipment
  • Assist in the harvesting and drying of plants.
  • Perform duties in the Production or Cultivation Departments: inventory management, feeding plants, defoliation, cropping, topping, flushing
  • Ensure daily task list is completed and tracked per management instructions
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of all equipment present within the grow area
  • Maintain a clean, SAFE and organized work environment
  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of a large-scale grow facility.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Transplanting cannabis plants, Moving plants through production, Harvesting plants, and accurate data entry.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate production timing.
  • Communicates with Leadership and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed.
  • Training, development & performance management of assigned staff.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance as needed
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor for up to 8 hours a day
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Screening
  • Must be able to work in a cultivation/plant environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and moderate to loud noise levels
  • Safety equipment required in plant areas
  • Exposed to bright light and watering areas
  • May be required to assist with pushing and moving of flower racks and tables
  • Perform other tasks as required and assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ year experience in the cannabis industry; minimum of 6-months in the specific area for which job opening exists
  • Experience preferably in an operations production/manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 1-year of leadership and/or supervisory experience
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs cGMP as required throughout the GrowHealthy site
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening as required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, DOH and the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU).
  • Competent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
