Position Description:

Ecompex is recruiting for a SharePoint Admin to provide Knowledge Management and Program Support Services to the Department of Homeland Security. The candidate's role will be crucial in accomplishing various missions to provide the necessary security for information sharing and to enable DHS to provide federal, state, and local officials with the technology and capabilities to protect the homeland. Some responsibilities of this role can include developing and reviewing technical documents, SharePoint management, scripting, windows configuration among other technical tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation to be placed in a position of Public Trust.
  • Must possess a B.A. or B.S. degree and have 5 or more years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Word, Excel.
  • Strong communication, written, and verbal skills.
  • Strong technical skills.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Central Administration Console.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Systems and Maintenance compliance processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft windows operating systems.
  • Proficient in Active Directory, Windows Administration, PowerShell, SharePoint, scripting, and Windows configuration.
  • Experience assessing server infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in SharePoint Online with experience in site administration and managing the SharePoint Central Administration Console.
  • Familiarity with IT Systems, Maintenance Compliance processes, particularly in information assurance vulnerability management.
  • Proficient in creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Administration, PowerShell, SharePoint, scripting, and Windows configuration techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers running on Microsoft Windows.
  • Capable of assessing server infrastructure and configurations to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions.
