The Dell Medical School is looking for a Senior Program Manager for Professional Fulfillment & Well-Being.
Dell Medical School seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Program Manager for Professional Fulfillment & Well-Being to help lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, resources, and initiatives that advance professional fulfillment and well-being amongst our faculty, fellows, residents, medical students, and scientists.
Purpose
This position will be expected to work closely with the Assistant Dean for Professional Fulfillment & Well-Being to prioritize initiatives, identify opportunities, and contribute to developing an organization-wide strategy. This role will also offer an exciting opportunity to engage with stakeholders across campus as an ambassador for the importance of professional fulfillment and well-being as a critical driver of excellent patient care, scholarly impact, and organizational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation of new system-level programs and initiatives, including project management and operational support such as managing timelines, resources, communication, training, and logistics, with support of the Assistant Dean for Professional Fulfillment & Well-Being.
- Manage operations of existing portfolio of system-level professional fulfillment and well-being programs and a speaker series, ensuring ongoing utilization and engagement.
- Co-design strategic plan and appropriate metrics, then translates this into tangible initiatives, in collaboration with the Assistant Dean for Professional Fulfillment & Well-Being.
- Assess impact and performance of new and existing programs and develops recommendations to optimize performance or fill gaps, based upon available data and survey results.
- Provide consultative expertise on key offerings and programs related to professional fulfillment and well-being that are managed by other areas of the organization, such as employee assistance programs and human resources.
- Draft progress reports, newsletters, presentations, and website content related to professional fulfillment and well-being, partnering with the Dell Medical School Communications Team as needed
- Collaborate with other teams to assist with the design and implementation of programs, surveys, research projects, etc. that are closely aligned with professional fulfillment and well-being.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Master's degree in a related field and 7 years of program management experience. Demonstrated excellent planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated initiative and ownership of projects. Demonstrated experience taking initiatives or programs from concept through implementation and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and leaders in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Ability to relocate to Austin, TX. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications3 years of experience in healthcare, ideally an academic medical center. Master's degree in management, business administration, healthcare administration, or applicable field. Demonstrated interest in professional fulfillment and/or well-being or clear interest in developing expertise in this area. Previous experience as Well-Being Program Coordinator or similar position. Demonstrated ability to manage a program budget. Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with change and ambiguity. Desire to facilitate meetings and deliver presentations.
Salary Range$110,000+ depending on qualifications
Working Conditions- May work around standard office conditions.
