Job Title: Project Manager II - Inventory Planner Location: RI, USA, 02895 Schedule: Monday to Friday Hybrid Pay Rate: $30 per hour W-2 Description:
  • The Inventory Planner is responsible for managing forecasts and inventory for a group of retail products, ensuring optimal Store and DC service levels.
  • Execute business plans to meet enterprise goals such as sales, margin, in-stock, turn, customer satisfaction, and GMROII, collaborating with internal and external partners for successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for products/categories
  • Manage inventory levels to support demand and meet targets
  • Create financial and inventory plans
  • Collaborate with various departments for effective supply chain management
  • Review deal opportunities and make purchasing decisions based on leadership targets
  • PO creation, tracking, and maintenance
  • Maintaining demand forecasts
  • Communicating with vendors
  • Reporting and attending Inventory Meetings
Experience:
  • 3+ years in Retail industry Merchandise planning
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Business acumen and Supply Chain knowledge
  • Ability to resolve high-profile issues
  • Excellent decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • JDA/Blue Yonder Forecasting & Replenishment Knowledge
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain or MBA
  • Supply Chain certification such as RSSC, CSCMP, or APICS
  • Experience in an S&OP environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of forecasting metrics
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Onsite Requirements: Onsite as needed
