Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world.

The Recruitment Specialist is a part-time position that is mainly responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities of all company personnel requirements.

This role starts as an independent contractor position with the potential to transition to a full-time role based on performance.

Key responsibilities:
  • Implement the overall recruiting strategy of Planate
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Screen candidate's resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the schedule
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Schedule/endorsement with the hiring manager
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Build a good working relationship with the leads to optimize strategy for workforce planning
  • Develop job descriptions and job-specific actions based on the scope of work given by the hiring manager
  • Act as the project lead on the efficient use of Recruiter Box or other recruitment tasks to be assigned by the superior.
  • Keep candidates' records and stages updated
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruitment reports as needed by the team
  • Support the onboarding of the new staff in order to become fully integrated with the Organization
  • Ensure compliance with the government reports/documentation /requirements and submit based on a timeline
  • Promote the company's reputation as the "best place to work"
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related discipline
  • With at least 3 years of experience in recruitment
  • Must have experience in client management
  • Must have solid experience in sourcing active and passive candidates via job portals, social media, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work on a night-shift schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
