As a Scanning Specialist at The Fresh Market, you play a crucial role in maintaining accurate pricing and signage in our store efficiently. Joining our team means contributing to exceptional customer service daily, which is essential for the store to thrive and meet its goals.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring correct pricing storewide, including promotional changes
  • Conducting regular price audits
  • Overseeing Produce ID Training Program
  • Operating a cash register during peak hours
  • Maintaining cleanliness and quality of products
  • Adhering to safety protocols

Availability:

This role demands flexibility, including working weekends, evenings, and holidays to support our customers and team effectively.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality
  • 1-2 years experience in team leadership
  • Minimum age of 18

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail or grocery experience

Physical Demands:

  • Repetitive movements and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Exposure to varying temperatures
  • Standing for extended periods, including wearing required protective gear
